The Dodowa Branch Library was established in November 1961 in Lower Dodowa, Ghana, through the efforts of Messrs. E. T. Mensah and Johnson, and was later moved in 1977 to its current location in a building that previously served as a clinic. The library is managed by the Ghana Library Authority and is currently undergoing renovation by the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly.
